Day 1: Arrive at Casablanca – Rabat:

As we meet you with a smile on our faces, we pick you up and drive to Casablanca. It is the largest city and the economic capital of the country. Our drive through this city will lead us to visit the largest mosque in Morocco “Hassan II”. It is an iconic landmark which is the only one open to non-Muslims. Later on, we carry on our journey to the political capital, Rabat. We will cover its historical sites such as Oudaya Kasbah, Hassan Tower, and Mohammed V Mausoleum. Overnight in Rabat.

Day 1: Casablanca – Fez:

Before we leave for Fes – The spiritual capital of Morocco, we will cover the main cultural and historical sites in Casablanca. Our journey will take us via the motorway to Fes. Overnight in Fes.

We will start the day exploring the oldest city in Morocco, snaking through its alleys and narrow streets. We will begin the sightseeing at the Royal Palace gate, followed by the Jewish headquarter – the first Mellah ever built in Morocco, during the 16th century. We will ensure that you visit all sites with cultural and historical interest including the famous Al Qaraouine University, the oldest in the region. We will also visit the Tanneries, the Attarine Museum, and the Moulay Idriss mausoleum. After lunch, you will visit many different cooperatives and then, experience a wonderful panoramic view over the whole Medina of Fes before ending the night at your Riad.

Then we will follow the Ziz River through the valley and stop to see the Ziz Gorges on our way to Merzouga.

Day 2: Merzouga – Erg Chebbi – Merzouga

After breakfast, you will make a great tour of the dunes passing through the 2 oases of MERZOUGA, the nomadic deposit along the desert routes, the town of KHAMLIA (town of the blacks) the MIFISS mines, the desert dishes, a meeting of the barbarian nomads of the desert, the TISSARDMINE oasis, and return to the hostel at 3 in the afternoon for the departure of their caravan in dromedary in order to attend the sunset in the dunes. You will spend the night in a wild oasis located 1 hour and a half away in the full desert. Night under the Berber tent.

We will stop at this panoramic park of the valley to take some photos and have a break before continuing our way to the sand dunes of Merzouga.
