4 days Marrakech desert tour

Day 1 : Marrakech – Ouarzazate – Boumalne -Dades Valley

4 days Marrakech desert tour departure: After picking you up at your hotel or riad we will depart to Ouarzazate. On the way, we will cross the Atlas through the incredible Tizi n’Tichka port, 2,260 meters high. Shortly after crossing the Atlas, we will arrive at the Kasbah of Ait Ben Haddou, an incredibly fortified city where films such as Gladiator or The Kingdom of Heaven have been filmed. After the visit, we will take the Thousand Kasbahs Road towards Skoura where we will stop at the Kasbah of Amredhyle. From here we will go to Kelaat M’gouna, the capital of the Valley of the Roses taking a 20 km track, we visit Berber nomads living in the caves, to finally reach the Dades Gorges, where we will stay.

Day 2 : Dades Gorges – Todra Gorges – Tinjdad – Merzouga Dunes (Erg Chebbi).

After breakfast, we will return to the Dades Valley and cross the impressive Todra Gorges. At this point, we will be until lunchtime. With renewed energy, we will take the road to Merzouga and cross the Palm Grove of Jorf (where it is said that the best dates come out) and Erfoud, a beautiful town where you can visit a marble workshop. Once in Merzouga, after recovering from the stunning image of its dunes, we will go on our camel trekking to see the sunset, then camel treks back to our camp for dinner and night under the tent.

Day 3 : Merzouga – Rissani – Agdez – Draa Valley – Ouarzazate.

We might wake up to see a sunrise behind the dunes, and after contemplating this moment, we will have breakfast. Our tour will be on the way to Ouarzazate taking a different route. Passing the Palm Grove of Tafilalet and the town of Rissani (origin of the Alauí dynasty and former capital of the Alawish sultans) we will arrive at Alnif, where we will take the road that crosses the Anti-Atlas mountain range. Amazed by the shapes and colors of these mountains we will reach Tazarine (an important Berber village), N’kob, and, finally, the Draa Valley and its amazing palm grove. In the afternoon we will cross the Anti Atlas through the Tizi n Tnifift port (1660 meters) in the direction of Ouarzazate, where we will spend the night in a riad/kasbah.

Day 4 : Ouarzazate – High Atlas – Marrakech.

After breakfast, we will have time to visit the famous Kasbah Taourirt and Atlas Film Studios, the most important in Africa. We will be back in Marrakech around 6 pm. End of my services.
